From November 14th to 16th, 2024, the Second Session of the 14th World Huang Clan Kinship Gathering Conference was held ceremoniously in Yogyakarta, a historic city in Indonesia.
This grand event was meticulously organized by the Indonesian Jiangxia Hall Huang Clan Association and attracted over two thousand Huang clan members from 20 provinces and municipalities in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, as well as from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, South Korea, and the United States. They gathered together to witness this historic moment. Mr. Huang Xiaotao, Chairman of Guangdong Wenhao Group, as a member of the Huang clan, was also invited to attend the conference.
On the 14th, as Huang clan members from home and abroad arrived one after another, the Exhibition Center in Yogyakarta Special Region, Indonesia, was bustling with excitement and noise. The clan members signed in, received conference materials and souvenirs, and took photos to commemorate this precious moment. Chairman Huang Xiaotao also gathered with many clan members at this time, reconnecting over kinship and collaborating for development.
On the morning of the 15th, the first event of the Kinship Gathering Conference—the Ancestral Sacrifice Ceremony—was held solemnly. In a solemn atmosphere, leaders such as Huang Yingchao, the Chairman of the World Huang Clan Association, Huang Yinhua, the Secretary-General, Huang Tian'en, the Supervisor-General, as well as representatives of the Huang Clan such as Huang Caili, the Chairman of the Indonesian Jiangxia Hall Huang Clan Association, and their descendants performed the ancient ritual of three offerings—incense, fruit, and wine—to the ancestors of the Huang clan, expressing their deep respect and remembrance for their ancestors. Chairman Huang Xiaotao also participated in this ceremony, jointly remembering the ancestors and inheriting the family culture. In the evening, the conference hosted a grand welcome dinner. During the dinner, leaders such as Chairman Huang Chunhe, Chairman Huang Yingchao, and Honorary Chairman Huang Dexin delivered speeches respectively, expressing their warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the clan members who had traveled far and wide to attend.
